Job Description

Full Job Description RC Car World is seeking an experienced, high-level RC Repair Technician to join our team in Cinnaminson, NJ. If you possess deep technical expertise, a track record of complex troubleshooting, and a passion for high-performance RC vehicles, we invite you to take the lead in our service department.
The Role:
Advanced Diagnostics:
Perform expert-level troubleshooting and repairs on high-performance bashers, crawlers, drifters, and RC motorcycles.
Technical Authority:
Act as the primary technical resource for the shop, handling complex electrical issues, custom builds, and sophisticated drivetrain tuning.
Quality Assurance:
Oversee the service bench, ensuring all repairs meet professional, high-performance standards before they leave the shop.
Mentorship & Consultation:
Provide in-depth technical guidance to customers and support team members with difficult mechanical hurdles.
What We're Looking For:
Mastery of Mechanics:
Extensive, hands-on experience with hobby-grade RC platforms (Traxxas, Arrma, Losi, Axial, etc.).
Deep Technical Knowledge:
Advanced understanding of ESC programming, brushless motor systems, lithium-polymer battery maintenance, and advanced suspension geometry.
Precision & Reliability:
Superior attention to detail; you don't just fix the problem, you optimize the vehicle for performance and durability.
Professional Communication:
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear advice for our customers, maintaining the high standard of service our brand is known for.
Work Ethic:
Ability to manage a high-volume service queue in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining impeccable quality.
Pay:
$19.00 – $23.00 per hour
