The Role (Your Day-to-Day) This is a service-focused role where your ability to diagnose, communicate, and solve problems sets you apart. You arrive on-site, system down, customer counting on you.

You:

Diagnose the issue using proper tools and testing equipment Identify the root cause—not just the symptom Repair or replace components correctly and efficiently But what makes this role different? You price the job using our flat-rate system and complete the service professionally. Throughout the day, you'll: Run service calls and maintenance visits Troubleshoot complex system issues Document work, parts, and findings accurately Stay connected with dispatch and your team Bottom line: You own the call—from diagnosis to solution to customer experience. What You'll Be Responsible For Diagnose, repair, and service HVAC systems in residential settings Use tools and testing equipment to troubleshoot system failures Identify root causes and implement lasting solutions Perform preventative maintenance and system checks Communicate clearly with customers to explain issues and solutions Calculate pricing using flat-rate system and collect payment Maintain accurate documentation of work, materials, and findings Read blueprints and understand system design when needed Collaborate with dispatch, supervisors, and team members Follow all safety protocols, codes, and company standards What Makes You a Fit EPA Certification (required) Valid driver's license High school diploma or equivalent Trade school (completed or in progress per state requirements) 2-3+ years of HVAC service experience (strongly preferred) Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to communicate clearly with customers Familiar with HVAC codes and regulations Comfortable using tools, testing equipment, and mobile systems Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in all conditions Authorized to work in the U.S. Compensation + Perks $26 - $36+ per hour (based on experience — no guesswork) Overtime opportunities Year-round, steady work Ongoing training and skill development Backed by 50+ years of trusted service in New Jersey Strong dispatch support and consistent call flow Working Conditions Indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions Moderate to loud environments May include early mornings, evenings, weekends Physical work: climbing, kneeling, lifting, bending (up to 75 lbs) Our Hiring Process We move fast and keep it simple: Click apply and answer a few Who, What, When questions.
