JOB DESCRIPTION
With supervision serves as contact for customers, tracks jobs, resolves problems, stocks materials and products, uses point of purchase system to check out customers, provides sales and service help to customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Incumbent must achieve the following outcomes with or without reasonable accommodation: Performs open and closing procedures for retail operations. Operates production equipment to produce various types of materials, which may include scanning, cropping, and/or maneuvering of images to project specifications. Maintains all records necessary to the operation of retail operations. Oversees multiple projects and orders of various types. Operates various functions within retail point of sale system. Monitors assigned floor space to include daily review, stock control and replenishment, supply levels and changes as needed. Processes and completes incoming and outgoing orders for clients. Assists with price quotes on orders when requested. Utilizes the standardized processes and follows procedures for all store operations. Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Flexibility, organization, decision-making and problem solving skills. Interpersonal skills with diverse populations in-person and on the telephone, and email. Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects. Knowledge of equipment and product. Retail industry training/experience.. Customer service experience. Knowledge of business English and basic math skills.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED. Three years of retail or product sales industry experience. Experience in customer service, inventory/stock control. Knowledge of point of sale/inventory computer systems operation and office/graphic software programs pertaining to retail operations.
