Job Description

The key duties for which the employee is accountable are as follows: Performs component level diagnosis and calibration of high technology instruments. Able to update electronic and software for all Reichert products upon training. Work closely with engineering team concerning root cause analysis on warranty / field returns. Provides estimates for repairs for billable service. Occasional field service calls within country. Technical telephone support Performs technical trouble shooting and repairs on all Reichert made and purchased products upon training. May train other Service Technicians. Ensure that all equipment and tools are clean, organized and in good working condition to maximize efficiency. Keep work area organized and clean in accordance with 5S initiatives. Performs rework of product when instructed.
Position Requirements:
The education, experience, skills and training required of the employee for this position are as follows: 2 year Associate Degree required and/or minimum two years electronic instrumentation repair experience. Good communication skills Interaction with all related personal within company to perform all functions required Ability to interface with customers Basic computer skills to navigate and enter information into predetermined fields of controlled software accurately and timely as instructed.
