Job Description
We are looking for Service Technicians to join our team! Duties and Responsibilities Treat all customers and coworkers with the courtesy and the respect they deserve Complete all work tasks assigned as safely and efficiently as possible Ensure the service work performed completes the work order Complete all required paperwork or computer/database entries for job assigned, making all necessary remarks legibly on the work order, warranty parts, return parts, etc. Inspect overall condition of each vessel and trailer, reporting any safety concerns or recommended additional service items to the Service Director Strictly comply with all company policies regarding safety, use of tools, equipment and vehicles Follow OpCode guidelines to ensure work is done properly and within time constraints Document all work and provide tech notes on all completed repairs, and FastField forms Track time accurately by punching on/off assigned tasks via company provided iPad Maintain a neat and orderly work area Follow guidelines and requirements for proper use/care of shared shop equipment and tools Be cognizant of mechanical certifications with brand manufacturers to ensure your skill set is up to date. Notify the Service Director if training has lapsed Other tasks as assigned by supervisor Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent Must have essential mechanical and technical skills Must have hand tools essential for the type of work assigned Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job Ability to lift up to 60 pounds Be team-oriented, self-motivated, and process driven Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation Reliable transportation and attendance is a must! Room to grow! This is a full time, year round position, with benefits! Growing and established Boat Dealership, Marina with full service, and multiple locations. Family business established in 1982.
