Emergency Services Technician E Logic New York, NY Job Details Contract From $60,000 a year 3 hours ago Qualifications Fiber optic cables OSHA Equipment troubleshooting OSHA 10 Technical troubleshooting support Equipment testing Full Job Description E-Logic is seeking Emergency Services Technicians to provide rapid-response support for critical communications and cabling infrastructure incidents across the Port Authority of New York. This role requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, emergency response readiness, and the ability to meet strict onsite response timelines. The contract requires onsite emergency response within four (4) hours. Responsibilities Respond to emergency infrastructure incidents and outages Troubleshoot fiber optic, copper, RF, and low-voltage communications systems Perform emergency repairs, restorations, and testing Coordinate with project leadership and facility personnel Maintain emergency response documentation and incident reports Support scheduled maintenance and preventive activities Ensure all work complies with safety and testing standards Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in telecommunications, structured cabling, or emergency technical support Strong troubleshooting and repair experience Ability to work flexible schedules, including emergency callouts Experience with fiber optic testing and certification equipment Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments Required Certifications OSHA 10-Hour Certification Manufacturer certifications in testing/splicing equipment preferred BICSI Certification preferred
