Position Overview:
The Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers by providing exceptional repair, maintenance, and installation services for windows and doors. This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and customer-centric approach will contribute to the overall success of our company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Represent and instilling the company's core values
Service and Repair:
Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for various types of windows and doors, including vinyl, wood, aluminum, and fiberglass. Identify issues and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal functionality and appearance.
Installation Assistance:
Assist the installation team when needed, ensuring that new windows and doors are installed accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with installation crews to ensure a seamless process.
Troubleshooting:
Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by customers. Use problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement corrective measures to prevent recurring problems.
Customer Interaction:
Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner. Address their questions, concerns, and requests, providing clear explanations of the work performed and any necessary follow-up steps.
Quality Control:
Perform thorough quality checks on completed repairs and installations to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations. Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of services provided, parts used, and time spent on each job. Complete service reports and documentation in a timely manner.
Product Knowledge:
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, product developments, and best practices in window and door installation and repair. Continuously enhance your technical skills and knowledge.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing all tasks. Ensure that proper safety measures are followed to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, including sales teams, project managers, and fellow technicians. Maintain open communication channels to ensure a coordinated approach to customer satisfaction.

Compensation:
$25.00-$35.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule:
8-hour shifts | Monday to Friday Occasional Saturday mornings (as needed for OT or coverage) Year-round, full-time work
