Service Technician

Role Overview & Responsibilities As a Service Technician, you will be the face of the company—diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing, carpentry and electrical systems while building trust with homeowners.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, carpentry and electrical systems in residential settings Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship Ensure all work complies with manufacturer guidelines and building codes Clearly explain issues and solutions to customers, offering honest and effective recommendations Maintain accurate service records and job notes Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and job site Uphold company standards of professionalism, integrity, and customer care Pay & Compensation We believe in rewarding performance. Base Pay :

$30-34 per hour

Checking Paystubs Requirements & Qualifications Must-Haves:

3+ years demonstrable residential electrical experience (branch circuits, fixtures, troubleshooting) 3+ years demonstrable experience in plumbing service and repair (fixture replacements, water heaters, PEX supply lines, PVC drain) 3+ years demonstrable experience in minor carpentry projects (Door Installation, Trim, Hand Rail Installation) Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Valid driver's license Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently Strong communication and customer service skills Professional demeanor and clean work habits Willingness to learn and assist with insulation projects Ability to learn how to use HouseCall Pro About Us Mohawk Valley Handyman is a company with the mission of serving others through the repair and restoration of their homes while experiencing and sharing the love of God.
