Full Job Description Garage Door Installer Pay:
Up to $1,400 (based on experience and completion) We are looking for an experienced Garage Door Installer with carpentry skills to complete a full residential garage door replacement project. Project Scope Remove existing 16' x 7' garage door, tracks, springs, and opener Install new Clopay Classic Steel 16' x 7' white garage door Install new Genie Signature Series belt-drive opener with battery backup Replace rotted garage door jambs Repair/replace deteriorated header as needed Install new exterior trim and weather sealing Repair existing side entry door frame (door remains) Adjust, balance, and test garage door and opener Clean job site and haul away debris Requirements Previous garage door installation experience Strong carpentry and framing skills Ability to diagnose and repair structural wood damage Experience installing garage door openers Own basic tools and reliable transportation Ability to safely lift and install garage door components Project Details Detached two-car garage Existing door: 16' x 7' White, non-insulated door (no windows) Minor to moderate framing repairs expected Hidden structural damage may be uncovered during demolition
