Shift Schedule:
5-day workweek, 8-hour shifts, 2:15 p.m.-10:45 p.m.
Industry focus:
Aerospace and aviation components.
Impact:
Prepare parts so coatings adhere and protect as designed. Core responsibilities Precisely mask parts for paint using blueprints, travelers, and work instructions. Generate masking templates from .dxf files and cut on a Cricut (training provided). Stage, load, and unload parts in paint booths and on drying racks. Clean and prepare parts before painting; perform post-paint cleanup and prep as needed. Place products for next steps—processing, inspection, or wrapping. Verify conformance to quality standards through careful inspection. Start and operate paint-related equipment; assist other operators when required. Keep your work area and paint equipment clean and orderly. Follow all procedures for safe storage and material handling. What you need to succeed High school diploma or GED. Inspection competence and high attention to detail. Basic math proficiency. Fluent written and spoken English. Integrity and a commitment to safety.
