Position Summary The Installation Support Technician plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by troubleshooting, resolving installation issues, and supporting our installation and service teams. This role requires a hands-on problem solver with strong construction knowledge, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in the field. Responsibilities & Accountabilities Respond to installer or service requests for assistance on job sites. Perform and complete recovery service tasks to bring projects to successful resolution. Troubleshoot problem installations and communicate findings to the Install Manager. Deliver missing parts, materials, or products to job sites to ensure first-time completion. Make emergency repairs or adjustments as needed. Communicate effectively with customers, setting realistic expectations and serving as a professional Pella representative. Take accurate measurements when necessary to support recovery and installation efforts. Follow Pella safety requirements by keeping work areas neat, wearing required safety gear, and reporting safety concerns. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (required). 2+ years of building/construction experience (required). Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (required). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Basic computer/technology skills. Must be able to lift products, assist with service, and make repairs as needed. Schedule Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility depending on project needs.
