About the job We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks within residential units and common areas to ensure the overall functionality and appearance of the property.
Job Scope:
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently Address minor carpentry and painting needs Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems Conduct routine inspections of in-unit systems and equipment Keep accurate records of completed maintenance tasks Install and maintain appliances Collaborate with property management to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks Job Requirements Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor Good communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to use hand and power tools Solid understanding of in-unit systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC Must be able to use a smart phone and email Some experience is welcome, but on-the-job training is available Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Relevant certifications or training in maintenance Valid driver's license
