Answer incoming calls and direct appropriately Schedule appointments Monitor appointment confirmation system Greet patients, update demographics, collect payments Verify insurance eligibility Scanning/copying/faxing Process medical records requests Patient special testing Update patient medical information Visual Perceptual testing and vision therapy Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal, medical and financial information per HIPAA Applicants considered should have: Passion for working with people of all ages Excellent multi-line telephone skills Excellent customer service skills Excellent computer skills An optimistic and focused work ethic Willingness to help other team members A desire to continue to learn
