Installer-Closets and shower doors

H2-LLC is a leading supplier/installer of glass shower doors, mirrors, bath accessories, closet systems, and fireplaces. We have been in business for more than 25 years. Each new employee will start as an Installer Apprentice, and you will ride with our installers to the various jobsites and assist with unloading/loading, carrying and installation of the products. Experience and initiative will determine how quickly you move into a piece rate installer role. The ability to lift 50-75 lbs. is required, along with the ability to walk up and down stairs, reach, twist, stoop and bend. Prior construction/finished carpentry experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation:

Anticipate needs in advance, check your orders while loading to ensure all components needed for the daily orders are accounted for. Provide training and mentorship to Installer helpers. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to read instructions, CAD Designs, standards, etc. to ensure proper installation. Strong knowledge and prior use of power and hand tools.

Material Handling:

Responsible for properly loading, securing, and transporting of handling materials necessary for installations. This includes lifting, carrying, and organizing components to ensure a smooth installation process.

Tool Operation:

Responsible for proper handling and storage of all tools and equipment. Ability to accurately read a tape measure.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Assist in maintaining vans driven by keeping them clean, maintaining tire pressure, and reporting issues as they occur. Ensure they are in optimal condition with everything needed for the installation while everything is properly organized and safely stored.

Collaboration:

Work closely with Scheduling Coordinator and Branch Operations Manager to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects. Collaborate when there is a need to troubleshoot and solve installation challenges.

Paperwork:

Complete paperwork related to installation process on a daily basis. Ensure accuracy and turn it in daily with vehicle keys.

Quality Assurance:

Self-starter with relentless pursuit for excellence, demonstrating pride in craftmanship. A strong eye for details. Ensures quality workmanship by double checking work before leaving the job.

Customer Interactions:

Demonstrates a positive attitude and represents H2 in a professional manner while performing duties. Passion for customer service with the ability to communicate well with customers, contractors, and team members in a professional manner.

Safety:

Adheres to all safety requirements and reports injuries or traffic incidents timely. Other Duties as

• Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or a related field is preferred. • Basic understanding of construction blueprints and diagrams. . Pre-employment drug screening.
