Service Technician | Pittsburgh, PA We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Service Technician to join our team at a thriving 370-unit apartment community in Pittsburgh, PA. If you're someone who takes pride in solving problems, enjoys working hands-on, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to residents, we'd love to meet you. In this role, you'll partner closely with the onsite Service Manager to maintain our community to the highest standards while creating a positive living experience for our residents. We value technicians who demonstrate integrity in their work, respect for residents and teammates, and an entrepreneurial mindset when tackling challenges and identifying solutions.
What You'll Do:
Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry. Maintain the interior and exterior of the community in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws. Respond promptly and professionally to service requests, delivering outstanding customer service with every interaction. Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents and team members regarding repairs, updates, and maintenance needs. Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture where diverse perspectives and ideas are valued.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour Up to 50%
Rent Discount Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions Morgan Essentials:
$300
Quarterly On-Call Appreciation Pay:
$15/day for holding the on-call phone Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match Generous Paid Time Off, including 10 holidays annually and sick leave Career growth opportunities within one of the nation's largest multifamily owners and operators
Schedule:
Monday -
Friday:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Participation in a paid rotating on-call schedule is required Must be available to respond during emergency situations as needed
What We're Looking For:
Active, valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
HVAC / EPA / CFC
