Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Master WatchMaker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the intricate repair, restoration, and maintenance of luxury and precision timepieces. Your expertise will ensure each watch meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and functionality. You will work with a variety of watch components, tools, and advanced diagnostic equipment to deliver exceptional service to our discerning clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mastery of horology while contributing to a prestigious brand reputation. Duties Perform complex repairs, adjustments, and restorations on a wide range of watches, including mechanical, automatic, and quartz movements. Use specialized hand tools, soldering equipment, and schematics to disassemble, diagnose, and reassemble watch components with precision. Troubleshoot software issues related to smartwatches compatible with Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows operating systems. Conduct detailed analysis of watch movements and electronic modules to identify faults or wear requiring repair or replacement. Repair or replace delicate parts such as gears, springs, batteries, circuit boards, and micro-components using soldering techniques and fine hand tools. Test watches for accuracy and water resistance after repairs using specialized equipment; calibrate as needed. Provide technical support for field service or retail sales teams by explaining repair processes or troubleshooting device issues. Qualifications Proven experience as a Master WatchMaker or in a similar horology-focused role with a strong portfolio of completed repairs. Extensive knowledge of both traditional watchmaking techniques and modern electronic components used in smartwatches. Proficiency with operating systems such as Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows for troubleshooting software-related issues on connected devices. Skilled in soldering micro-components and interpreting schematics for complex electronic repairs. Familiarity with computer hardware diagnostics and repair procedures related to wearable technology. Strong analysis skills to accurately diagnose mechanical or electronic faults quickly and efficiently. Ability to work with various hand tools, soldering stations, microscopes, and specialized watch repair equipment.
