Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Service Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and optimizing industrial equipment within manufacturing facilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with complex machinery, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver exceptional customer service. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations across various industrial systems, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. Your expertise will help keep production lines running smoothly and contribute to the success of our clients' manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot and repair machinery using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes of issues. Operate precision measuring instruments, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess system performance. Install, calibrate, and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage electrical components. Perform welding and mechanical repairs using industrial mechanic experience and welding expertise. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and inventory management. Support field service activities by traveling to client sites to perform repairs, installations, or upgrades while providing excellent customer service. Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to execute precise repairs or modifications in HVAC/R systems, hydraulic setups, or other industrial machinery. Assist with the operation of scissor lifts or other lifting equipment safely during maintenance tasks. Collaborate with clients' technical sales teams to provide insights on system improvements or upgrades. Requirements Proven experience working in an industrial manufacturing facility or similar environment with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Demonstrated expertise with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems (including high voltage), hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and precision measuring instruments. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately for troubleshooting and repairs. Experience with welding techniques such as <

> welding; certification is preferred. Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery issues quickly and effectively. Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking; familiarity with industrial electrician practices is a plus. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English. Industrial mechanic experience coupled with field service capabilities; military background in related roles is advantageous. Ability to operate low voltage systems safely using tools like ammeters and ohmmeters while adhering to safety protocols involving high voltage environments.
