Repair Technician

Job Summary The Shade Doctors are a Northern New Jersey based Window Treatment Repairs & Installation service. We are seeking a detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our team. Technicians will be able to diagnose window treatment issues and repair window treatments, at the repair shop. Technicians are expected to be familiar with the products and how to repair them. Technicians will be expected to come in to our shop at least 3 days per week. Technicians will be provided with all repair parts and tools. Responsibilities Diagnose issues with window treatments using specialized tools and techniques. Perform repairs on window treatments, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Arrive at our repair shop within the window of arrival provided by the Owner. Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, including parts used and time spent on each task. Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and enhance overall efficiency. Stay updated with the latest repair techniques and technologies relevant to the industry. Skills Proficiency in using equipment and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting purposes. The ability to understand semi-complex operating systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Good communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and management.
