Branch Manager Position Summary:

This full time position requires a self starter requiring minimal supervision and is responsible for managing, supervising and overseeing the branch service operations. This responsibility includes the delivery, setup and finishing of homes sold, the hiring, interacting with customers in a positive manner when necessary and working with all the other branch personnel in meeting the overall company goals.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Has primary responsibility to see that all homes sold by the branch are safely delivered to customer sites, are properly setup and finished in accordance manufacturers setup manual and instructions provided by the branch manager and sales (Sales Order) and help insure that the customer is extremely satisfied with the setup of his home. 2. Properly plan for deliveries and service. 3. Work closely with Branch Manager and other departments regarding planning and completing customer deliveries of homes on a timely basis. 4. Plan and arrange for necessary service supplies and materials for jobs to be available when needed in order to maintain efficiencies and productivity. 5. Plan and arrange for service travel for branch service employees and subcontractors as necessary. 6. Plan ahead to keep the number of service trips on jobs to a minimum. 7. Inspect delivery and work sites for proper preparation and safe conditions. 8. Check foundation dimensions prior to setting of homes. 9. Arrange for, schedule and supervise subcontractors as needed and necessary. 10. Arrange for essential Factory Service when necessary. 11. A high priority is to be placed on the completion of the setup and finishing of homes on a timely basis and on schedule. 12. Assist the branch Manager in planning and conducting the weekly Monday morning Safety meeting. All service employees are required to attend. 13. Drive company toters and service vehicles from branch to customer sites to deliver and setup homes. 14. Refurbish used homes as directed by the branch manager. 15. Maintain the necessary service supplies and materials inventories necessary to keep the service department running efficiently. 16. Manage by example in dealings with service employees and subcontractors. 17. Order service materials and supplies as necessary using a Purchase Order with approval of branch manager. 18. Arrange for pick up and delivery of service materials and supplies to branch and job sites as necessary and as approved by the branch manager. 19. Promote company policy and safety at all times. 20. Help contact customers and arrange for customer service when possible. Keep in mind that prompt customer service is a high priority and customer satisfaction is one of the primary goals of the company. 21. Help to keep service areas and work sites clean and safe at all times. Work sites should be cleaned up every night. 22. Treat all fellow employees, customers, vendors and subcontractors in a courteous and respectful manner at all times. 23. Various other duties and functions as necessary and assigned.
