Job Description
About the Role We're looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our finishing and coating equipment team. You'll be the go-to expert for our customers across Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Long Island, and New York City—keeping their spray booths, ovens, powder coating systems, and related equipment running at peak performance. If you're mechanically sharp, enjoy solving problems in the field, and want a role where no two days look the same, this is it. What You'll Do Perform field service calls, troubleshooting equipment issues at customer sites across your regional territory Carry out preventive maintenance on spray booths, industrial ovens, powder coating booths, and related finishing equipment Lead and support installation projects—ranging from one or two days for smaller jobs to a week or more for larger ones—including building enclosures, running ductwork, mounting fans, and making final connection points Diagnose mechanical and limited electrical issues and develop effective solutions on-site Deliver professional, customer-facing service and build strong relationships with the accounts you support What We're Looking For We'll train the right person on our specific equipment—what matters most is a strong mechanical foundation and a customer-service mindset. Strong mechanical aptitude—this is the #1 requirement Background in a mechanical trade such as HVAC, plumbing, sheet metal, industrial maintenance, or similar Comfortable working in the field and at customer sites on a daily basis Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve equipment issues independently Some electrical exposure is a plus (low-voltage work, controls, wiring) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to travel approximately 75-80% within the regional territory Territory & Schedule Primary territory: Eastern PA, New Jersey, Long Island, and New York City Home base: Horsham, PA office and warehouse Candidates based in Central New Jersey are well-positioned—most work falls within roughly a two-hour drive Field-based role; expect to be on the road most days Standard 40-hour work week; occasional overtime may be available Compensation & Benefits $24-$28 per hour, based on experience Monthly vehicle stipend paid through Emburse Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel Full-time, direct-hire position Growth Opportunities For the right person, there may be a long-term path into an outside sales role.
