Job Title:
SEWER TECHNICIAN
( maintenance, drain cleaning, and/or repair )
JOB SUMMARY
Under direct and indirect supervision performs a variety of semi-skilled work involved maintenance, clearing, preventative maintenance, and simple knowledge base of plumbing drainage systems. Able to assess various systems onsite and implementing the solution to alleviate plumbing issue. Recording and submitting paperwork according to the job back to the office. Closing out all jobs efficiently. Position is NOT remote and does not provide paid time off, benefits, or holiday pay.
Employment Type Full-Time Hourly:
$18/hr
  • $20/hr (based on experience) Reports directly to: Dispatch team and
CEO Primary Duties:
Clearing clogged drain lines. Assessing plumbing systems on site in real time. Logging correct and pertinent information.
Sewer Technician Skills and Qualifications:
Team players with the ability to manage each job independently. Mechanical skills
  • Must be able to operate a sewer machine Physical fitness
  • Must be able to physically do and complete each task associated with the job position. Troubleshooting
  • The ability to assess and rectify/alleviate/solve each service call, and/or report the next steps. Customer service skills
  • Professionalism and communication is the key to securing the customers confidence in you.
Work Environment:
The work is typically performed outdoors. The employee may be exposed to noise, dust, dirt irritating chemicals, machinery with moving parts, and occasional hot, cold or inclement weather. This work may require the use of protective devices such as masks, goggles, headwear or gloves.
