What you'll do Measure parts and assemblies using calipers, micrometers, CMM, articulated arm CMM, and attribute gages Run routine tensile/compression tests Record inspection and test outcomes with clarity and completeness Document nonconformances for material review board disposition Assemble first article and PPAP documentation packages Communicate inspection results to production and partner on corrective actions Perform in-process inspections as needed Help train production personnel on in-process inspection methods What you bring Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T Hands-on experience with metrology tools, including CMMs and articulated arms Background in composite manufacturing preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office ASQ Certified Quality Inspector preferred Formal CMM or articulated arm training preferred Associate degree, or high school diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience
