Job Description

Service Technician Travel:

As a global leader in measurement technology, our instruments test plastics and rubber for quality, consistency, and performance. From our Rock Hill, SC facility, we support customers across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico — and we're looking for a hands-on, curious, and customer-focused Junior Service Technician to join our growing team. What You'll Do Make an Impact with Innovation in Material Testing ! After comprehensive training (in-house, on-the-job, and at our headquarters in Germany), you'll become an expert in maintaining and supporting our high-tech testing systems. If you're mechanically inclined, love to travel, and want a long-term career where learning and curiosity are rewarded, we'd love to hear from you. Key responsibilities Install and set up new instruments and provide on-site user training Perform routine calibrations to ASTM and ISO standards Travel (75%) across North America, typically Monday-Friday With experience, handle remote troubleshooting, service, and repair visits What You Bring We're open to training someone early in their technical career who shows drive, professionalism, and mechanical aptitude. Requirements High school diploma (technical college coursework or equivalent experience a plus) Familiarity with MS Office and basic computer hardware/software Ability to read wiring schematics and use tools like a voltmeter Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems and mechanical troubleshooting Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal) — neat handwriting matters! Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and travel frequently (75%) Must pass drug test and background check Passport or ability to obtain one (some international travel)
