Description Now hiring a Lead Generator Field Service Technician with a nationally recognized, family-owned company right in your area—offering stability, new business growth, and a team that values your expertise! This local direct hire position will be the to go person for the team regarding generators, offers a work truck and the ability to expense lunch when visiting local customer sites. No overnight travel required! Generator Technician will be responsible for planning effective work and local travel schedule within the area, diagnose malfunctions; repairs and/or replaces worn and defective parts; installs new assemblies, adjusts devices and controls
  • to correct malfunctions and to keep machines in operating condition.
Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair power generators
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot generator issues
  • Test and inspect generators to ensure they meet safety standards
  • Perform preventative maintenance on generators
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Manage inventory and order parts as needed
Requirements Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certification in Generator Technology preferred
  • At least 4 years of experience in generator installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and generators
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed and work in varying weather conditions Apply for this job
