Job Description

Job Overview Are you passionate about technology and eager to keep mobile devices functioning at their best? As a Cell Phone Repair Technician, you will be the go-to expert for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices. Your energetic approach and technical expertise will ensure customers leave with their devices restored quickly and confidently. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, develop your skills in electronics repair, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Diagnose hardware and software issues on various mobile devices including Android, iOS, and Windows operating systems Perform repairs such as screen replacements, battery swaps, camera fixes, and soldering of small electronic components Utilize hand tools, schematics, and specialized equipment to disassemble and reassemble devices accurately Troubleshoot software problems related to operating systems and applications to restore device functionality Conduct analysis of device hardware failures using technical support techniques and diagnostic tools Follow safety procedures during equipment repair to ensure quality and prevent damage Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and offering technical support for mobile devices Experience Proven experience repairing smartphones, tablets, or other mobile devices with knowledge of Android, iOS, macOS, or Windows platforms Skilled in soldering small electronic components and reading schematics for complex repairs Familiarity with computer hardware troubleshooting and software diagnostics for mobile devices Hands-on experience using hand tools and specialized repair equipment in a retail or field service setting Strong analysis skills to identify root causes of hardware or software issues quickly Ability to communicate technical information effectively to customers with varying levels of understanding Previous work in retail sales or customer support roles involving technical troubleshooting is a plus
