This role supports life safety compliance while working independently in customer facilities. What You'll Get $23.00-$30.00 Hourly (DOE) Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage available 401(k)/Roth retirement plan with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays Life/AD&D and Supplemental Insurance Available What You'll Do Inspect and repair firestopping systems per NFPA, IBC, and UL standards Inspect fire-rated doors and fire dampers per NFPA requirements Perform minor repairs to doors, frames, hardware, and wall assemblies Read and interpret Life Safety Plans and construction drawings Document inspection results and repairs using tablet-based reporting Maintain tools, equipment, and clean, safe job sites Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams Support multiple service lines and travel between job sites Who We Are REMEDI8® is a national leader in passive fire protection and compliance solutions for healthcare and commercial facilities. What We're Looking For Experience in firestopping, fire doors, dampers (HVAC), or life safety systems Construction, drywall finish and hanging, caulking Ability to read Life Safety Plans (LSPs) and work independently in facilities Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and Microsoft Office tools Self-motivated and dependable with strong customer service skills Willingness to support multiple service lines and travel locally Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Ability to work on ladders, above ceilings, and in confined spaces Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and work extended hours Ability to work nights or weekends as needed Additional Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age Valid driver's license required Employment contingent upon drug screen, criminal background check, and driver's license check Ability to travel locally as required for projects For more information about REMEDI8® or to find more jobs like this one, visit www.myremedi8.com EEO Employer, including disability/veterans
