We employ Porsche certified technicians.
Job Summary:
A Porsche Certified Service Technician, fixes, inspects, and maintains Porsche vehicles. Main duties include using tools to identify and diagnose potential issues with a customer's vehicle, explain problems with the vehicle to the customer and perform maintenance on the vehicles to fix or prevent them from future breakdowns or issues.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment. Repair brake and steering systems. Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems. Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed. Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling. Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations. Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed. Must read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records. Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed. Maintain a clean, safe working environment. Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Understanding of automotive systems. Ability to use the diagnostic equipment and tools including power tools. Willingness to learn with hands-on training. Ability to maintain a professional appearance. Ability to provide friendly customer service.
Education and Experience:
High line automotive repair experience required. Working knowledge of state inspection guidelines, particularly those concerning emissions and safety, is advantageous. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. ASE certifications required.
Physical Requirements:
May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs. Good hand-eye coordination. Prolonged periods of standing. Frequent reaching, bending, squatting, pulling and lifting.
