Installer - Overheard Doors

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Installer for a supply company in Denison , Tx specializing in the installation of commercial, overhead garage doors, and rolling steel doors. Candidates must have a strong background in fabrication and/or carpentry to be considered. This role requires a motivated, safety-conscious professional who is mechanically inclined and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The Installer will work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality installations that meet safety standards and customer satisfaction. Duties Travel to various job sites for installation assignments, often requiring earlier start times. Load, transport, and unload materials and tools required for installation projects. Install commercial overhead doors, sectional doors, rolling steel doors, and related hardware according to technical specifications and safety standards. Perform site assessments to verify measurements and installation conditions. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and installation instructions. Ensure proper operation and alignment of installed doors, including mechanical, electrical, and safety systems. Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites and company vehicles. Identify and troubleshoot installation issues, providing timely solutions and communicating concerns to the supervisor. Maintain accurate records of materials used, time spent, and work performed. Follow all company policies, OSHA safety standards, and local codes. Interact with clients and general contractors in a professional and courteous manner. Qualifications Professional experience in fabrications and/or carpentry required. Proven experience in construction highly preferred. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and work at heights. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams. Proficiency with power tools. Excellent time management and communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision. High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a background check.
