This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, troubleshoot complex equipment, and deliver exceptional service to clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and property maintenance, and a passion for problem-solving. As a Service Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance of critical systems while fostering customer satisfaction and safety. Duties Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing fixtures, and related mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Perform routine maintenance tasks on air conditioning units, boilers, appliances, and other mechanical systems to ensure efficiency and longevity. Install new HVAC/R equipment, including ductwork, piping, electrical connections, and refrigeration components following safety standards and technical specifications. Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot issues on-site, providing timely solutions for property maintenance needs across commercial or residential settings. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to test electrical circuits and perform repairs or modifications as required. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs performed for accountability and future reference. Operate a driver vehicle safely while transporting tools, parts, or equipment to various job sites. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on HVAC, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing or appliance repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and interpret technical diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with HVAC design principles and property maintenance procedures. Familiarity with field service operations involving air conditioning systems, boilers, or other mechanical equipment. Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively for troubleshooting electrical issues. Skilled in welding techniques and equipment repair methods necessary for maintaining or installing complex systems. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred. Knowledge of safety protocols related to ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R environments is highly desirable.
