Job Description
Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver / Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must be 21 years of age (insurance purposes), will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to navigate efficiently, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including those with manual transmission, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. Ensure accurate delivery of items by verifying orders before leaving the warehouse. Maintain communication with dispatch regarding delivery status and any potential issues. Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving to ensure safety on the road. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Assist in warehouse operations, including moving items, organizing inventory, assisting customers with parts they are needing, receiving pumps that need to be repaired, diagnosing pumps and repair, maintain a clean and safe work environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role; courier experience is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Physical stamina to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods during loading/unloading activities.
