Job Description
Experienced Roofing Repair Technician Roofer Chicks® is looking for an experienced roofing repair professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and can work independently in the field. We are seeking a skilled repair technician with experience diagnosing and repairing a variety of roofing systems. The ideal candidate can identify the source of a leak, determine the correct repair, communicate clearly, and complete high-quality work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial roof repairs
- Diagnose roof leaks and identify root causes
- Repair and replace damaged shingles, flashing, and roofing components
- Perform basic carpentry related to roof repairs, including decking, fascia, soffit, and framing repairs
- Install and repair roof penetrations, flashings, pipe boots, and ventilation components
- Complete repairs safely and professionally while maintaining a clean job site
- Document work performed with photos and notes Preferred Experience
- Asphalt shingle roofing (required)
- Metal roofing systems
- Tile roofing systems
- Low-slope and flat roofing systems (TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, etc.)
- Leak detection and troubleshooting
- Basic carpentry and framing repairs
- Working with ladders, steep roofs, and varying roof types What We're Looking For
- Proven roofing repair experience
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Dependable, professional, and customer-focused
- Ability to safely lift and carry roofing materials and equipment
- Pride in producing repairs that last Employment Options We are open to either:
- W-2 employment, or
- 1099 subcontractor arrangements The position structure will depend on the experience, qualifications, and circumstances of the candidate.
