Essential Functions & Responsibilities Service Technician As a Service Technician you will be responsible for handling, inspecting, and preparing waste for the incineration process. Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices Loads and/or unloads drums and containers from trucks in a safe and compliant manner Processes and/or stores hazardous waste materials Weighs and breaks down large containers to consolidate into smaller containers Samples and inspects all containers as they are received at the facility Drives forklift to retrieve drums and containers from storage; operates computer and conveyor Transports/positions trailers and tankers for collection of slag and ash Maintains a clean work area Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization Education•High-school diploma or equivalent (required) Experience Previous forklift experience (preferred) Previous firefighting experience (preferred)
