Job Description

Sprinkler Repair Technician Pay:
$18-$30/hour
DOE + 10
% commission per job (experienced techs)
Schedule:
Seasonal (March-November, weather dependent)

Opportunity to advance within the company We're hiring a reliable, mechanically capable sprinkler repair technician to handle residential irrigation repairs. This is hands-on work that rewards problem-solving, ownership, and integrity. No sprinkler experience required — we will train the right person. What matters most is attitude, work ethic, and the ability to learn. Requirements (Non-Negotiable) 1099 contractor Must have your own reliable vehicle Valid driver's license Comfortable working outdoors in heat and physical conditions Able to lift 50 lbs, dig, kneel, and work in tight spaces Reliable, punctual, and professional with customers Able to learn and troubleshoot — not just follow instructions What You'll Do Diagnose and repair residential sprinkler systems Replace sprinkler heads, valves, solenoids, wiring, and PVC Locate and repair underground leaks Program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers Perform spring startups, in-season repairs, and fall blowouts Communicate clearly with homeowners about issues and solutions Leave systems clean, functional, and efficient Pay Structure $18-$30/hour , depending on experience 10% commission per job for experienced technicians Paid training during the first month Training First month is paid training Hands-on learning in the field Clear standards and expectations Move into independent work after training Schedule Seasonal position: March-November Schedule depends on weather and demand Ideal for someone seeking strong seasonal income Growth Opportunities Increased responsibility and pay based on performance Opportunity to become a lead technician Priority for expanded roles for high performers Experience No sprinkler experience required — we will train Mechanical aptitude strongly preferred Plumbing, electrical, or hands-on trade experience is a plus This Job Is NOT a
