Position Purpose:
Under the direction of the Facility Maintenance Foreman, keeps the buildings of Central Valley Water Reclamation Facility in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize offices, conference rooms, lunchrooms, common areas, and fitness rooms. Clean and restock restrooms and locker rooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, doors, walls, floors, countertop spaces, and dispensers. Clean, wash dishes, vacuum floors, and launder table linens after work events. Sweep, dust, mop, wax, buff, and vacuum floors and surfaces. Refill supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials. Empty wastebaskets and recycling receptacles. Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment. Follow safety procedures and cleaning protocols. Ensure CVWRF policies are followed. Promotes and implements Arbinger principles. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications Requirements/Skills:

Language Skills - In English, ability to read and interpret documents such as material safety data sheets, safety rules etc., Ability to effectively communicate with other plant personnel about building maintenance related subjects. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the Facility. Mathematical Skills - Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of money, weight measurement, volume and distance. Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense to solve occasional problems. Computer Skills - Ability to use the Internet to acquire information and use Internet-based software systems. Ability to use computers, mobile devices including smartphones and tablets for job related applications, timekeeping, and communication. Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent GED; one to two months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical, Mental Demands, and Work Environment:

The work environment may include exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position is primarily performed indoors and is open to the public. The role involves frequent interactions with visitors, customers, vendors, and staff. The employee must maintain confidentiality, communicate effectively and professionally in person, by telephone, and electronically. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate. Work Performance:
