Service Technician Position Summary:

MELD Manufacturing is growing and seeking a full-time Service Technician to join our team. In this role you will play a crucial part in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex MELD Machines that utilize the latest technologies. As a rapidly expanding small business, we value team players who excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are eager to contribute to our ongoing success.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

Install and commission

MELD AFSD

machines at customer sites. Perform Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), including operating CNC-based systems. Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) and emergency repairs. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Provide on-site customer support and basic operator training. Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time. Work closely with engineering to resolve technical issues and improve system performance. Other tasks assigned to support business needs.

Qualifications:

Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, and controls) Comfortable operating CNC equipment for testing and validation. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Required:

Experience working with CNC machines or industrial equipment. Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics Travel up to 75% to customer sites for installation and maintenance. Most travel is within the US, but some out of country travel is required. Must be a US citizen with a valid passport or ability to obtain one.

Education:

Associate's degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb stoop, kneel and lift and/or push/ pull up to 40 pounds. The employee must have color vision to work with color-coded wires and components to correctly identify and trouble shoot systems.
