The work requires attention to detail, proper prep techniques, and the ability to produce durable, high-quality finishes in field environments. supports the operation and maintenance of critical tunnel, transportation, and facility systems. We provide stable, hands-on work for skilled trades professionals in a safety-focused environment where your expertise helps keep essential systems running. What You Will Do You will perform painting, surface preparation, and light carpentry work to maintain and repair facility and structural assets.Key responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces using sanding, grinding, stripping, or blasting methods Apply coatings, including paint, primers, sealers, and finishes to structural surfaces Work on metal, concrete, and other non-residential materials Perform repairs to wood and structural components, including doors, frames, and fixtures Patch, fill, and seal cracks, joints, and damaged areas Remove and reinstall fixtures and hardware as needed for proper surface access Mix and match coatings to achieve specified finishes and durability requirements Erect and work from ladders or scaffolding as needed Read work orders and determine materials and work requirements Calculate material needs and support job planning What You Bring 3+ years of experience in commercial or structural painting (examples: facilities, bridges, infrastructure, industrial environments) Experience preparing and coating metal, concrete, or structural surfaces Ability to perform surface prep, repairs, and finishing work in field environments Experience using hand tools, power tools, and painting equipment Background in facilities, construction, or infrastructure maintenance Basic carpentry or structural repair experience Valid driver's license with a clean record Why Join Us Steady, full-time work in a specialized skill area Work on infrastructure and facilities that require quality craftsmanship Opportunity to build skills in both coatings and structural repair Team environment with clear expectations and consistent workflow Work Environment Work outdoors and at active project sites Exposure to traffic, weather, and industrial conditions Regular use of ladders, tools, and safety equipment Frequent standing, lifting (50+ lbs), and physical activity Benefits Paid training and certifications Overtime opportunities 15 daysPTO & 11
