SUMMARY:

The Flock Services Technician is responsible for keeping flocks up-to-date on sample testing and other testing for the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP) requirements and state guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include, but are not limited to, the following: Develop a schedule for flock testing, ensuring the schedule is followed and in compliance with NPIP and state guidelines. Perform sampling on flocks, ensuring to adhere to requirements and guidelines. Transfer samples to the appropriate containers. Deliver prepared sample to lab.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
