More tasks and responsibilities Perform electrical and hydraulic maintenance and repairs on cranes, stern ramps, hatch covers, winches Handle advanced equipment repairs and conduct breakdown analysis Ensure adherence to safety and audit standards Document work schedules and completed work tasks accurately Identify opportunities for service and spare parts sales Have a conscious relationship with financial sustainability and profitability This position is based in Norfolk, Virginia, reporting directly to the Dry Docking Superintendent. What you'll need to succeed Knowledge and understanding of schematics are essential in this role. We are looking for a person who has previous experience with electrical systems, conveyers, electronics, pumps and rigging large equipment. As a person you are customer-oriented, possess good communication and collaboration skills. You are able to work independently under limited supervision, and have a desire to further develop yourself and the department. Ideally you have High school diploma or GED Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical troubleshooting, and equipment repairs Hydraulic experience is beneficial Valid Driver's license, and ability to obtain Passport and TWIC card Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time Why MacGregor?
