Job Title:

Service Technician Job Description As a Service Technician, you will focus on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial cleaning equipment such as washing machines, vacuums, and floor scrubbers. This role requires you to complete preventive maintenance schedules, conduct inspections, and perform performance testing to extend the lifespan of equipment. Additionally, you will maintain accurate service records, parts usage logs, and documentation within company systems. You will also assist with the installation and setup of new commercial cleaning equipment and respond to service calls, ensuring excellent customer service when onsite at customer sites. Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cleaning equipment including washing machines, vacuums, and floor scrubbers. Complete preventive maintenance schedules, inspections, and performance testing. Maintain accurate service records, parts usage logs, and documentation within company systems. Assist with installation and setup of new commercial cleaning equipment. Respond to service calls and provide excellent customer service onsite. Essential Skills Mechanical skills Troubleshooting abilities Repair expertise Preventive maintenance knowledge Experience with low voltage systems Field service proficiency Installation skills Additional Skills & Qualifications 2-3 years of experience as a service technician or in maintenance in a similar field/environment. Valid driver's license. Strong mechanical experience and basic low voltage knowledge. Work Environment The work environment consists of a shop/manufacturing setting with a standard shift from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
