Immediate Hiring For Mechanical Technicians/ Forklift mechanics In Pasco, WA- Pay- 28-33$/h Job Description As a Shop Technician, you will perform testing, repairs, and maintenance activities on forklifts and other equipment under the guidance of a supervisor. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge through various training classes. The role requires maintaining a positive image to customers while collaborating effectively with all departments. Responsibilities Diagnose unit problems accurately. Attend and participate in all service-related meetings. Complete and submit all paperwork to the Service Manager in a timely manner, ensuring legibility, completeness, and obtaining the customer's signature on necessary documents. Submit paperwork with comprehensive data from unit diagnosis, explaining faults found and listing any safety and mechanical issues. Ensure this information is shared with the customer by obtaining their signature on appropriate documents. Communicate regularly with the Service Manager, Parts Department, and CSS to build and maintain positive relationships. Support the parts department by allowing adequate time for stock orders, providing correct unit and attachment information for proper ordering, maintaining organized shop inventory, and utilizing critical parts orders when needed. Essential Skills Proficiency in repair and mechanical work. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Experience with pneumatics and wiring. Capability to perform installations. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
