Job Description
Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintenance and repair of small engines Operates all equipment used, and be available to use this equipment when needed. Performs preventive maintenance work, such as checking oil and fluid levels Maintains inventory records on repairs made, parts ordered, and parts inventory. Accurately inspect, test and diagnose malfunctions Give prompt, accurate estimate and expedite priority jobs Ensure repairs are safe and within manufacture guidelines, encourage repairs that follow manufacturer's schedules of maintenance Maintain accurate, organized and thorough records Maintain clean, safe, neat and productive work area Performs other duties as required.Requirements:
High school diploma and two years' work experience in mechanical operation, repair and maintenance of small engine equipment or similar field experience Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds above shoulders without assistance Working knowledge of safety practices and procedures while making mechanical repairs; knowledge of various machines; working knowledge of maintenance and repair Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with accuracy and speed, ability to create effective working relationships with employees; verbal/written communication Familiarity with chain and blade sharpening Analytical, troubleshooting, and testing skills Facilitate standing, stooping, bending and kneeling for prolonged periods of time Small Engine Service Technician Jant Group, Inc 4416 South Regal Street, Spokane, WA 99223 $17.25 - $28.00 an hour - Part-time $17.25 - $28.00 an hour -Part-time Responsibilities:
