About us Lakeland Lawn & Equipment Inc, John Deere Dealership in Arbor Vitae, WI., looking to hire a full time mechanic to join our team. Our service technicians work on a variety of tasks from diagnostics & repair, to installation & set-up of tractors, implements, utility vehicles, etc., both customer-owned and dealer-owned inventory. Prior experience with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems is preferred. If you enjoy mechanical tasks, building or rebuilding projects or just working with your hands, we want to talk to you! What You'll Do Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere Equipment in keeping with recommended procedures and specified standards. Work may be performed at customer's sites, as required. Provide outstanding customer service. Day to Day responsibilities could vary with new responsibilities introduced often and will require someone who is organized and able to complete long term projects. Complete work in a safe, professional and timely manner. What It Takes Excellent mechanical and technical aptitude. Positive attitude with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, keen attention to deal. Have and maintain a clean driving record, must have own tools. Technical diploma or degree is preferred, prior experience in diesel engines preferred. Must have own tools. What You'll Get Job related training and development, great starting pay.
