Service Technician

About our company:

Wolter Pools & Spas has been South Central Wisconsin's leading swimming pool installation and service company since 1965. We are seeking a dependable, task-oriented technician to add to our service crew. Pool and hot tub experience is not necessary -- we will train you ! This is the ideal job for someone who has basic plumbing and/or electrical knowledge and would like to apply themselves and grow in a new career. If desired, candidate can move into a manager position.

Job Responsibilities:

Drive company vehicles to customer's homes for various swimming pool and hot tub equipment installations and repairs. This varies every day and can include repairs of pumps, heaters, automatic pool covers, etc. Lead team in delivery and set-up of hot tubs. Assist with all aspects of in-ground pool installation, including equipment set up, piping, liner installation, and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Must be able to arrive at work on time every day and manage time well. Basic plumbing, piping, and/or electrical knowledge is preferred. This position is ideal for someone who likes to figure out how things work! Ability to take initiative and jump in to help the crew with task at hand. Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles daily. Ability to frequently bend, kneel, reach, in addition to lifting/carrying 50+ lbs as needed. Must be able to keep company vehicles and job sites clean and tidy.
