Job Description

Starting at $20.55 per hour | Flexibility to work 3 rd shift - 4, 10 hour shifts 11pm-9am In this fast paced, high energy environment where accuracy is essential, how do we keep track of our many casino transactions? As a Cage Technician you will use your electronic and mechanical skills to properly maintain and repair money handling and table games equipment. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (
  • Essential Functions)
  • Conduct repairs and proper preventative maintenance on money handling equipment by following service manuals, approved procedures, and proper documentation.
  • Perform minor electronic and mechanical repair to ensure optimal performance of all money handling equipment.
  • Create, process, and maintain proper paperwork on inventory, machine and equipment status.
  • Utilize proper tools and/or equipment needed to carry out necessary job responsibilities. Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulation.
  • Responsible for inspecting, repairing, and installing all Table Games equipment.
  • Responsible for monitoring, servicing, and repairing all Shuffler Master equipment.
  • Maintain and repair all Table Games and Poker layouts (table tops) and equipment.
  • Complete Table Games work requests as they are assigned, in a timely manner.
Promote and participate in a strong team effort and assist other team members, as needed. Other repairs and maintenance throughout the department as directed by supervisor. Establish, update and ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures and regulations. Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent is required and 1 year of related experience working with repair of small mechanicals or electronics is preferred. Previous experience working with Ticket Redemption Units and Currency Counting Equipment are preferred. Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and basic computer skills. Ability to write and perform preventive maintenance procedures for Table Games equipment. The ability to use basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and counting using whole numbers and United States currency. The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information. The ability to interact with guests and team members professionally. The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the office and property for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer/point-of-sale (POS) system. The team member is required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 100 pounds occasionally, with assistance. Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus . The employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to one hundred pounds with assistance frequently and move and /or lift up to fifty pounds with assistance. Working Conditions The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor the noise levels increase and it is not smoke free.
