Job Description

Service Repair Technician Nord Gear Corporation - 3.4 Waunakee, WI Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Troubleshoot problems on failed units. Work in a safe manner and follow all safety rules and policies. Disassemble and evaluate failed units. Make sure paperwork matches the units. Receive product into SAP/RGA system. Disassemble units returned for stock. Rebuild paperwork write up. Assist production group. Scrap product. Stage product. Maintain 5S. Follow and use JI's/SRD's Be an active participant in the company's suggestion, quality, efficiency, and cost savings programs. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Mechanical experience preferred.
Skills and Key Attributes:
Strong mechanical knowledge, the ability to learn and perform basic troubleshooting and gearbox analysis, and possess basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to stand on feet and move around for up to 8-12 hours per day. Disassemble and evaluate returned units for repair.
