Job Description

Service Technician Wausau, WI 54401 Apply Overview Salary Range $24.99 Hourly Position Type Full Time Apply Service Technician Mid-Wisconsin Beverage is seeking a Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair fountain, vending, and coffee equipment at customer locations. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring equipment operates properly, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting seasonal equipment setup and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fountain, cooler, vending, and coffee service equipment at customer accounts. Clean and sanitize post-mix beverage systems according to company standards. Prepare, assemble, and test equipment in the shop prior to installation. Perform seasonal equipment setup, startup, shutdown, and maintenance, including flushing lines and connecting product. Maintain vendor-owned equipment by cleaning and completing minor repairs as needed. Repair and rebuild used equipment and parts. Responsible for special events setup - delivering product, invoicing product, merchandising product, collecting money, hauling trailers, delivering food and beverage equipment, sanitizing equipment, maintaining records of event details and other duties needed to service the special events customers. Maintain accurate vehicle inventory of parts and supplies. Assist with equipment deliveries and account support. Follow company safety procedures and provide professional service to customers at all times.
Qualifications:
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with 2-4 years of related experience preferred. Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift, move, and install equipment. Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. This position offers a variety of work both in the field and in the shop, providing an opportunity to develop technical skills while supporting our customers and brands.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (extended hours as needed) On call for nights and weekends every 4th week, once training is complete
