Job Description
Yard Service Technician- Full or Part Time LeMaster Equipment and Party Rentals LLC. (DBA Equipment Rentals) Equipment Rentals of West Bend is seeking a Yard Service Technician to join our growing team. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and preferably have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record to qualify for this position. This position can be physical and demanding, requiring strength, stamina and mental toughness. This position requires working indoors and outdoors, directly with customers and closely with coworkers. As a Yard Service Technician, you'll help keep our equipment ready for customers while maintaining a safe and organized yard. This can be a full-time position; however, seasonal and part-time opportunities are available for students or retirees. Ideal candidates are dependable, motivated individuals who enjoy working with their hands and learning new skills. Job Duties Clean, inspect, and prepare equipment for rental Perform minor equipment repairs and maintenance checks Assist customers with loading and unloading equipment Demonstrate proper and safe equipment operation Deliver and pick up equipment as needed Record equipment condition before and after rental Support inventory, shipping, and receiving tasks Follow company safety policies and procedures Attend team and safety meetings Maintain a clean and organized yard, shop, and work areas Fill propane cylinders (West Bend location) Assist with other tasks as needed Skills & Qualifications Requirements Must be 18 years or older Ability to lift 75+ lbs Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Customer service mindset Good communication skills Attention to detail Preferred but not required High School Diploma or GED Mechanical aptitude Basic knowledge of construction tools or equipment Equipment rental or construction industry experience Working Conditions Indoor and outdoor work
- Exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, kerosene, cleaning solvents, and lubricants
- Frequent movements include lifting, pushing, bending and standing
- Regular interaction with coworkers and customers
- Weekend work required on a rotating schedule
