TESINC, LLC
is a leader in broadband engineering, providing high-quality technical services for Fiber to the Home (FTTH), HFC, and commercial network deployments. We specialize in the "real-world" front-end of engineering—taking designs from the screen to the field.
The Role:
We are seeking detail-oriented Field Technicians to perform OSP (Outside Plant) walkouts and field data collection. You will be the "eyes in the field," ensuring our engineering and drafting teams have accurate data for network deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • OSP Walkout & Verification:
Perform on-site engineering of proposed fiber and coax routes.
  • Pole Data Collection:
Conduct pole sticking, height-of-attachment measurements, and make-ready assessments.
  • Mapping:
Perform strand and trench mapping using Bluebeam, Katapult Pro, kmz files, or manual field notes.
  • Surveying:
Conduct MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) new build surveys and as-built verifications.
Quality Control:
Ensure all field data meets customer-specific standards for permit drafting and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read and interpret utility maps, road prints, and design schematics.
  • Experience with field tools (measuring wheels, height poles, GPS/GIS devices).
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and walking long distances.
  • Proficiency in mobile data collection apps (Bluebeam, Katapult Pro, Google Earth/KMZ).
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record (Required), as this role involves frequent travel to project and field sites.
Preferred:
Background in OSP Engineering, Land Surveying, or Utility Locating.
Pay:

  • $2,250.
