Job Description

Job Description As a Portable Security Deployment Technician , you will be responsible for the physical installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and retrieval of our portable camera units. This is a true field role - you will work independently at client sites, often outdoors in high-temperature conditions (over 100°F). You must be comfortable with heat, physical work, and use mobile apps to verify camera connectivity. •Please note that this is a seasonal position, with opportunity from advancement within our company•Key Responsibilities Deploy, mount, and aim portable security cameras on the client's equipment. Perform site surveys to determine optimal camera placement (coverage, line-of-sight, cellular signal) Activate and test cellular camera connections using a company-provided smartphone or tablet Monitor and troubleshoot offline units in the field Retrieve camera units at end-of-contract, inspect equipment, and prepare for redeployment Maintain detailed deployment logs with photos, site notes, and signal readings Drive a company vehicle to multiple job sites per day. Communicate professionally with customers, client personnel, and office dispatch Physical & Environmental Requirements Heat tolerance: Must be able to work outdoors in temperatures consistently over 100°F for extended periods (e.g., 2-4 hours at a time) while wearing appropriate PPE.
Lifting capability:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (camera cases, solar panels, accessories) unassisted. Requirements (Must-Haves) Valid driver's license and clean driving record (no major violations such as DUI, reckless driving, or license suspension in the past 3 years) Valid Arizona UNARMED security guard from the Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) Comfort with basic hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, levels, drill) Ability to follow written setup guides and use mobile apps for camera configuration Professional communication skills (written and verbal) for customer interactions Nice-to-Have (Not Required, but a Plus) Military, law enforcement, or event security experience involving surveillance equipment What We Offer Paid training on our specific camera platforms Opportunity to move into other roles within the company!

$20.00 per hour
