Monday-Friday (Nationwide Travel Required) Overview of the Role Join a growing telecommunications infrastructure team supporting network deployments across the country. As a Central Office Installer (Level III), you will perform installation, removal, and modification of telecommunications equipment within central office environments while working independently and supporting project teams in the field. This role is ideal for an experienced installer who enjoys hands-on technical work, travel, and the opportunity to contribute to critical communications infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Install, remove, and modify telecommunications equipment and hardware Perform wiring activities on non-working equipment and infrastructure Review and interpret job specifications, engineering drawings, and installation documentation Coordinate daily activities with project teams and assist with crew task assignments Communicate with Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) representatives and project stakeholders Conduct quality inspections and identify installation issues for resolution Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to industry standards Travel to customer sites nationwide to support installation projects Qualifications 4+ years of telecommunications installation experience Experience working within central office environments Knowledge of digital switches, transport systems, power systems, and common central office equipment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong understanding of installation standards and quality requirements Effective communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Additional Requirements Ability to pass a background check Ability to obtain or maintain a Michigan Chauffeur's License Ability to obtain or maintain a DOT Medical Card Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight travel during the work week Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay: $25-$29/hour depending on experience Overtime opportunities $155/day per diem for travel assignments Hotel and travel expenses covered upfront 80 hours PTO annually Company vehicle provided Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) benefits Career growth opportunities into senior and lead technician roles #LI-EM1 #
